1996 Honda Accord Coupe

The 1996 Honda Accord Coupe is considered to be in the fifth generation of the car, built upon the same award winning platform as previous years and delivering quality performance that only strengthened the model's reputation. There were some slight changes made to the appearance of the vehicle, including a change in the turn signals, tail lights, and a softer front fascia. The engine choices were the same as the Accord Coupe from 1994 and 1995, with a top end V6 found in the LX and EX models. In addition to the usual Accord Coupe variations, Honda also decided to throw a new model into the mix for the year of 1996. Known as the 25th Anniversary Edition, this form of the Accord was meant to compete with many of the new cars that were appearing in the same class. As with previous years, the 1996 Honda Accord Coupe was a popular seller, characterized by a reputation for rugged ability and low maintenance problems.
